1. Welding Integrity: The "Skeletal" Health
The frame is the dumper's backbone; weld quality dictates lifespan.
Inspect Equipment: Request footage of the welding area. Is it manual handheld welding, or a Robotic Welding Station? Robot welds are uniform with fine ripple patterns, offering strength far superior to manual work.
Request Reports: Ask for UT Inspection Reports (Ultrasonic Testing). This detects internal porosity, slag inclusions, and cracks. If a supplier refuses citing "trade secrets," be cautious.
Check Details: Examine welds at critical stress points (articulation ears, lift cylinder mounts). Are there signs of re-welding? Re-work often indicates initial failure and compromised strength.
2. Anti-Corrosion Process: Battling Time

Confirm Ply Rating: Ensure the tire's Ply Rating (PR) matches the dumper's load capacity.

Loaded Ramp Test: Request video of a Loaded Climb. Listen for smooth engine/motor sound, absence of hydraulic noise, and no black smoke or power lag.
Hydraulic Cycle Test: View footage of continuous Lift-Lower cycles. Check for smooth operation, full return, and minimal drift (internal leakage) during sustained lifting.
Steering Maneuver: Observe tight-radius turns to ensure responsive steering without abnormal tire scrubbing.
