Selecting by Payload – Crunching the Numbers
Payload is the primary decision factor. Match the model to your typical single-load weight.
500kg Class (XHT500 / XHT500S): Ideal for bricks, bagged cement, refuse, or garden mulch. Perfect for private farms, home renovations, or indoor demolition. The XHT500S adds elevation for feeding hoppers.
750kg-1000kg Class (XHT750 / XHT1000): The "Sweet Spot" for exports. Handles sand, wet clay, and small precast items. The XHT750 features a mixer—perfect for orchards/golf courses. The XHT1000 lifts 1500mm high, ideal for conveyors or high-sided trucks.
1200kg Class (XHT1200): Suited for quarry spoils or heavy demolition debris. Its 180° swivel is invaluable in tight alleys.
3000kg Class (XHT3000): For major earthworks, mining, or rental fleets. If you move over 20 cubic meters daily, or haul large boulders/heavy plant, this is your only choice.

Selecting by Terrain – Trafficability is Key
The same load requires different chassis for different grounds.
Paved Surfaces (Concrete/Asphalt): Choose the XHT3000 (Wheeled). Tires offer low rolling resistance and high speed (12km/h) without damaging pavement. Running tracks on hard surfaces accelerates wear.
Dirt/ Grass: All crawler models work. For maneuverability, the narrow XHT500/XHT750 (700-850mm wide) excel.
Deep Mud/Snow/Sand: Mandatory Rubber Tracks. Large footprint prevents sinking. Opt for deep-lug patterns for maximum grip.
Steep Slopes (>20°): Require the XHT3000 (30° gradeability) or reinforced crawlers. Smaller units may struggle with power or braking under heavy loads on inclines.
Indoor/Greenhouse: Door widths often restrict to <1m. Recommended: XHT500 or XHT1200 (900mm wide). Consider exhaust routing; catalytic converters may be needed.
Selecting by Special Function – Function Dictates Efficiency
Unique designs solve specific pain points.
High-Level Discharge: Need to feed crushers or fill high bins? Choose XHT500S (1200mm lift) or XHT1000 (1500mm lift).
Side Discharge: Working against a wall or unable to turn around? Choose XHT1200 or XHT3000. Their 180° hydraulic rotation dumps sideways without manual help.
Mixing Capability: For agriculture/fertilizer? The XHT750 is essential—one of the few mini dumpers integrating a mixing tank.
Extended Operation: Need all-day runtime? The XHT3000 with its 35L tank and diesel efficiency is built for endurance.
Selecting by Market Regulations – Compliance Ensures Customs Clearance
Emission laws vary; wrong engines mean rejected shipments.
North America (USA/Canada): EPA certification mandatory. Choose models with Briggs & Stratton engines (Standard on XHT750, XHT1000, XHT1200).
Europe: Euro 5 compliance mandatory. Xinghang offers Euro 5 engines, including Kubota and Yanmar.
Southeast Asia/Africa: Emissions less strict; focus on value. Koop, Rato, or Changchai engines offer competitive pricing and local parts availability.
Australia: Besides emissions, safety standards are strict. ROPS (Roll-Over Protection) and FOPS (Falling Object Protection) are often required. Confirm before ordering.
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) – Beyond the Purchase Price
Smart buyers calculate TCO.
Shipping Costs: Small units (XHT500) in steel frames fit 8-10 units in a 20' container. The large XHT3000 fits only 2-3 in a 40' container. Per-unit freight varies significantly.
Fuel Costs: Diesel (XHT3000) costs more initially but offers better economy for heavy/high-mileage work. Gasoline suits light/short runs—cheaper to buy but thirstier to run.
Resale Value: Machines with Kubota/Briggs engines retain value far better than those with generic engines.
